Pendiri WikiLeaks Ditangkap, Donald Trump: Itu Bukan Urusan Saya

Konfrontasi - Presiden AS Donald Trump mengaku tidak tahu apa-apa tentang WikiLeaks ketika ditanya soal penangkapan Julian Assange di London.

"Saya tidak tahu apa-apa tentang WikiLeaks. Itu bukan urusan saya dan saya tahu ada tindakan yang mesti dikenakan terhadap Julian Assange. Saya telah melihat apa yang terjadi dengan Assange," kata Trump, dikutip dari CNN, Jumat 12 April 2019.

Trump pada hari Kamis berulang kali membantah tahu tentang WikiLeaks dan Assange.

CIA was hacking iPhones one year after launch: WikiLeaks

KONFRONTASI - Whistleblower website WikiLeaks has claimed the US Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) has been hacking Apple products to spy on their owners.

The new WikiLeaks release, called Vault 7 “Dark Matter,” was released on Thursday.  It described a handful of programs that the CIA has apparently used for nearly a decade—in some cases to surreptitiously monitor Apple device owners.

KONFRONTASI - WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange says US President Barack Obama is using the alleged hacking attacks against Democrats to “delegitimize” President-elect Donald Trump before his January 20 inauguration.

“They’re trying to delegitimize the Trump administration as it goes into the White House,” Assange said in a Fox News interview to be aired on Tuesday night, according to a transcript provided by the network.

WikiLeaks: Assange's internet 'severed' by state actor

KONFRONTASI-WikiLeaks says that founder Julian Assange's internet access has been cut by an unidentified state actor.

The whistle-blowing organisation said on Twitter on Monday that they have activated their "contingency plans" after its co-founder's internet service was intentionally cut off.

The internet is one of the few available means through which Assange can maintain contact with the outside world.

WikiLeaks cancels Clinton revelation over security concerns

KONFRONTASI - Whistle-blowing website WikiLeaks has canceled a major announcement about US Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton, citing “security concerns.”

Julian Assange, the website’s founder who has long taken refuge at the Ecuadorian Embassy in London, was supposed to make the announcement from the embassy’s balcony on Tuesday.

However, NBC News reporter James Rodriguez said in a tweet on Sunday night that the event has been called off.
