Konfrontasi - Kementerian Pertahanan Rusia memperingatkan Amerika Serikat (AS) untuk tidak melakukan serangan terhadap basis militer Suriah. Ini merupakan respon atas ancaman yang ditebar Washington kepada Damaskus beberapa waktu lalu.

Kremlin hopes U.S. finds 'political wisdom' to solve diplomatic row

KONFRONTASI- The Kremlin said on Monday it hoped the Trump administration would find the political wisdom to solve a diplomatic dispute with Moscow over the seizure of Russian diplomatic property in the United States.

Barack Obama, then U.S. president, ordered the seizure of two Russian diplomatic compounds and the expulsion of 35 Russian diplomats in December over what he said was their involvement in hacking the 2016 U.S. presidential election campaign, something Russia flatly denies.

Russia says no direct contacts yet between White House and Kremlin

KONFRONTASI-Direct contacts between the White House and the Kremlin have not been established since U.S. President Donald Trump took office, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said on Thursday.

"Contacts at the level of the administrations are not taking place at the moment, there haven't been any yet, such contacts are yet to be established," Peskov told a conference call with reporters.

Kremlin: No one can speak to President Putin in ultimatum-like tone

KONFRONTASI - The Kremlin says President Vladimir Putin would not accept any ultimatums over the crisis in Ukraine amid reports that Russia must agree to a Franco-German proposal for peace or await further economic sanctions.

“We’ve already said everything about the tone of the negotiations. No one has ever spoken or can speak to the president in an ultimatum-like tone much as one would like to,” President Putin’s spokesman, Dmitry Peskov, said on Monday.
